Mark was elected President of the Midwest Lowline Association in April of 2010. The American Lowline Association is divided into 5 regions. The Midwest Association includes Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas and Wisconsin. The mission of the Midwest Association is to help producers market breeding stock and develop markets for freezer beef. The Midwest Region is host to three major Lowline Shows: Iowa State Fair, Nebraska State Fair and the American Royal.
A very important part of both the regional and National is the support of the Junior Program. The American Lowline Junior National Show 2010 is June 22-26th in Muscatine, Iowa.
